What are your favorite videogames?

what videogames do you think stand out amung the rest?

For me, I obviously love minecraft. Its a very original game.
Im also quite fond of the Halo series. Wonderful story and gameplay.
One of my all time favorite games is Spyro the dragon, the very first one. I can't explain why, but theres just something magical about that game that i've never felt while playing another game. Some of it is probably nostalgia

How about you guys?

Minecraft of course, why else am I on this forum?
There's also Team Fortress 2, Terraria, and Skyrim right up there on my list of favourite games.

Oblivion, Tribes Ascend, Ratchet and Clank games, and the Half-Life games.

I wouldn't really call Minecraft a game. More a platform to create things off of, and not just in-game creations. Things like mods, texture packs, and custom maps are equally a part of the experience.

Skyrim totally slipped my mind when I made my first post THats a great game.

Thats an interesting thought Drago, but what about survival mode?

Survival mode is the most game-like aspect of it, but like it's name suggests, it's only a mode the game can be played in. A lot of other games have different modes as well, but Minecraft is still different.

Dark Souls, Oblivion, Skyrim, Dead Space 2, Dragon Quest Monsters, Ratchet and Clank, Bioshock, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Pokemon, Crysis 2, Shadow of the Colossus, Journey, Metal arms, Halo 3, Portal 2, Amnesia: The Dark Decent, Scribblenauts, Crash Bandicoot (the old ones for the Play Station), Jak and Daxter, and Spyro.
